Dr Siegel is by far one of the best Drs I have had in many years, he is extremely knowledgeable and he took time to make sure that my procedures was fitting, Dr Siegel met personally with the insurance company to explain the treatment I needed and I can never thank him and his staff enough. I wish that I could go to Dr Siegel for everything but since I can’t I will take him as a gastro surgeon any day a million times over. Thanks again Dr Siegel and I look forward to working with you over the next year!

I had the unfortunate experience of needing emergency surgery while on family vacation visiting my son, and I couldn’t be more thankful that I was in the hands of Dr. Steve Siegal. From the moment I arrived at the hospital, Dr. Steve Siegal demonstrated both professionalism and genuine care.

In a stressful and frightening situation, he took the time to explain the procedure, answer my questions, and made sure I felt as comfortable as possible before the surgery as well as talking to family about my care. His calm and reassuring demeanor gave me a sense of confidence that I wasn’t just another case to be handled but a person being cared for with true attention.

The surgery itself went smoothly, and I’m recovering far better than I expected. I’m extremely grateful for Dr. Steve Siegal skills, experience, and compassionate approach to both the procedure and my recovery.

Dr Steven Siegel did a great job with my minor surgery. He and his office were kind and very easy to work with. He coordinated with another surgeon to do both surgeries at one time saving me a second hospital trip, anesthesia, and recovery. Highly recommend.

Dr. Siegel is an excellent surgeon and communicator. He took the time to explain everything, made my wife feel very comfortable with the procedure and has great follow-through. The office staff takes extra time to make sure everything is done and that you're happy. Highly recommended.

Dr Siegel did my robotic colorectal reversal surgery this week and he was wonderful and the surgery went well with no complications. Other doctors had looked at my record and said it was a difficult surgery to do because of my other health problems but he said he would be able to do it robotically. The surgery only lasted 2 hours and my recovery is going very well. No surprises and I have been given pain medicine to help. I didn't think I was ever going to get rid of my colostomy bag and had problems with it which caused me to come to the hospital with an emergency because it was blocked. I definitely recommend Dr Siegel because he is kind caring and answers all your questions and wants to make you happy. I am Susan Bair and I thank God everyday that I found him when I came to the hospital with an emergency. I will be forever grateful for what he did for me.

Dr. Siegal and his office staff are very pleasant, polite and extremely professional. Over the past five years I began to throw up almost everything I was eating. Dr. Frank, my gastroenterologist during a routine endoscopy saw a hiatal hernia that no previous doctor (believe it or not) saw. He recommended I see Dr. Siegal. I was able to get an appointment. Dr. Siegal sent me for preliminary testing. My hiatal hernia was preventing my food from fully entering my stomach. Dr. Siegal told me in a manner that made me feel comfortable that robotic surgery was the way to go. Two weeks ago he performed the procedure and now I'm eating food again without any issues. Dr. Siegal is a very well trained surgeon and has (as they used to say) "Great Hands" which is what you want from the doctor who is about to operate on you.
Best of luck to you all, but you won't need it with Dr. Siegal.

I had emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder 2 weeks ago. Dr. Siegal performed the surgery and Sarah Donnelly, PA, assisted. I cannot thank them enough for helping me in this crisis. They made sure my husband and I were well informed throughout the diagnosis and subsequent procedure. In my post-op recovery I have experienced very little discomfort. I cannot thank them enough. Dr Siegal performed a laparoscopic procedure on my wife who was admitted to Gulf Coast Hospital. She had a colon resection approximately 7 years ago.
Dr Siegal has a great bedside manner. He is an accomplished physician that explains the procedure and potential outcomes thoroughly in an easily understandable manner.
I highly recommend Dr Siegal.

If you ever need gastro help, Dr Siegel and his staff have the skill and desire to make you well and whole again. Dr Siegel's knowledge of the human body and skill with robotic repairs internal to the body left minimal incisions for quicker healing. I only needed pain meds the first night home. He was challenged by a Remede centralized sleep apnea device in my chest with electrical leads going to my diaphragm and he did amazing work despite the unknown. Give Dr Stephen a try... You won't regret it.
